Photos: Teenage girl believed to be mentally unstable attempts to purchase N620k phone for N500 in Lagos

The teenage girl pictured above is believed to be mentally unstable. According to a LIB reader who sent in the photos, she went into a phone shop in Surulere, Lagos this afternoon and told the sales rep she wanted to buy a phone that cost N620,000. When she was asked to pay for the phone, she replied, saying that she needed to withdraw the money using the ATM.

Please arrest more judges- Mbaka urges FG.

Controversial Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Emene, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has urged the Federal government to arrest more judges that are suspected to be involved in corrupt practices. Mbaka who made the call while speaking at the thanksgiving mass to mark the Enugu State Judiciary 2016/2017 legal year at the Adoration ground, said the arrest of some judges in October by the DSS is supernatural.

Man rapes and kills eight-year-old girl who was waiting for a bus to take her to church.

Ramey, has been arrested for the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl, Sabrina Stauffenberg, who was snatched from her front porch as she waited for a ride to church. Police found Sabrina's body on Wednesday by tracing her cell phone signal.

Police arrest Ugandan king over deadly clash which killed at least 55 (Photos).

Police in western Uganda have arrested the king of Rwenzururu, Charles Wesley Mumbere, over clashes between police and militia which killed at least 55 people, in the region on Sunday. Security forces stormed his palace amid claimed that he, King Mumbere, was harbouring fighters in his palace.
The King, who is being accused of inciting violence in the region, has been denied movement after records emerged that at least 14 police officers and 41 militants have died in the violent clash.
