Fans blast F1 racer Lewis Hamilton for snapchatting during live press conference (photo)

Formula one champion Lewis Hamilton has come under fire after the British athlete was photographed snapchatting this morning during a live Japanese Grand Prix press conference.

Using the snap chat app on his phone, Hamilton, 31, posted a video in which he was "wearing" drawn-on rabbit ears, whiskers and carrots, accompanied with the words: "This s*** is killing me.
"

With the press conference still ongoing, Hamilton then showed the videos to fellow drivers Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz who each shared a smile.

Fans didn't take kindly to his actions and took to Twitter to criticize him calling him arrogant and unprofessional
