27 Lebanese Christians have been arrested and then deported to Lebanon after being found with Bibles in their homes and praying during the Virgin Mary festival.
They were charged with conducting non-Islamic prayers.
Saudi regime officials have not acknowledged that the Virgin Mary is of an elevated position in the Quran.
Children are also included in the 27 people to be deported, although the exact amount has not been revealed yet.
It was the Saudi religious police who had arrested them in the Al-Aziziyah neighborhood of Mecca.
Saudi Arabia remains one of the most religious intolerant country’s in the world. The state religion is the puritanical radical Wahhabi brand of Islam.
